Website conversions
Actions tracked on Faundit's website after people clicked an ad.
Faundit takes lost and found off hotel staff's hands, from guest contact and payment to pick-up and shipping. We ran its LinkedIn Ads from brand awareness to lead forms, and put Faundit in front of hotel managers in Sweden and the UK.
Results from Faundit's LinkedIn Ads reports and lead form list over 7 months.

Early tests showed that handheld videos worked best, and that hotel staff respond when they recognise a hotel. So we filmed new videos on site in front of hotel logos. Far more people watched them all the way through.
Completion rate is the share of viewers who watched the whole video, as reported by LinkedIn for each report period.
Lost and found takes time at every hotel. Staff pack parcels, go to the post office and take payments over the phone, and guests come to collect items at the busiest times of day. Some hotels kept track in a spreadsheet and did not want yet another piece of software.
The goal: make hotel managers aware of Faundit, then bring the interested ones to Faundit's website.
We started with brand awareness and tested images and videos against two audiences: hotel roles by job function and seniority, and a list of Swedish hotels. In the second phase we tested copy: short against medium texts, and messages about saving time, positive guest experiences and the headache of lost and found.
Short texts and the time-saving message won. Ads that called out hotels directly got the most clicks. We used those lessons in lead forms for a demo and a savings calculator, retargeted everyone who had engaged, and filmed new videos at the hotels.
Over 7 months the ads were shown 329,387 times and clicked 3,435 times, with a 1.04% average click-through rate. In the copy test the best text reached a 4.3% click-through rate. The new hotel videos were watched to the end by 34.44% of viewers, up from 12.87%.
A 1.04% click-through rate, about 3 times the LinkedIn average.
Creative first, then copy, then lead forms aimed at people who already knew Faundit.

A copy test where short texts and the time-saving message won, then lead forms for a demo and a calculator, retargeting, English ads for the UK and new videos filmed at hotels.

How we count. Months are counted from the strategy meeting. All figures come from Faundit's three LinkedIn Ads reports. The first two chart periods are as stated in the first two reports. Months 5 to 7 are the final report totals minus those two periods. Totals for impressions, clicks, click-through rate and conversions are the cumulative figures in the final report. Click-through rate is clicks divided by impressions, as reported by LinkedIn. Conversions are actions tracked on Faundit's website. Video completion rate is the share of viewers who watched the full video. "About 3 times the LinkedIn average" is the comparison stated in the final report.
