Positive conversations
Referrals to the right person, interested prospects and 3 booked meetings.
Intrum helps companies get paid on time and protect their customer relationships. We put two Intrum sales profiles in front of CFOs, finance directors and credit managers at Intrum's chosen Danish accounts, and one in three of the people we messaged replied.
Results from the LinkedIn campaign data and lead tracking over 3 months.
Referrals to the right person, interested prospects and 3 booked meetings.
From finance and credit leaders at Intrum's target accounts.
Of the people we messaged replied.
Decision makers at named accounts, more than double the goal of 200.
The goal set at the start was 10 positive conversations per profile. With sharp account lists and short, curious openers, the two profiles reached 36.
The goal was agreed at the strategy workshop. The result is the total in the final monthly report to Intrum.
Intrum sells credit management to companies with a lot of invoices to chase. The buyers are CFOs, finance directors and credit managers, and they rarely answer a cold approach.
Intrum had a clear list of Danish companies it wanted to reach. It needed a way to open conversations with the right person inside each one.
The goal: at least 10 positive conversations per profile.
We ran outreach from two Intrum sales profiles. Each worked its own list of named accounts, filtered to finance, credit, procurement and customer experience leaders.
We tested three openers. A short, curious question about how the company handles collections won with a 45% reply rate, more than double the longest version.
We also rewrote one profile headline. Its acceptance rate rose from 33% to 40% in the next round.
Across both profiles, 473 decision makers connected and 147 replied. One in three people we messaged wrote back.
Those replies became 36 positive conversations, against a goal of 20.
25 of them were referrals to the person who handles collections, 8 were interested prospects and 3 turned into booked meetings.
From workshop to 36 positive conversations in three months.
Strategy workshop, headline suggestions for both profiles and a named account list for each, filtered to finance and credit decision makers.
Both profiles went live with three openers. 220 new connections and 61 replies in the first month.
The short, curious opener won the test. We kept the best two, added a new one and updated a profile headline.
The reply rate climbed to 41%. In total: 473 new connections, 147 replies and 36 positive conversations.
People messaged and replies each month, with the share who replied.
Both profiles combined.
How we count. Requests, new connections, people messaged and replies are monthly totals from the LinkedIn campaign data for both profiles. Month 3 runs to the final report. Acceptance rate is new connections divided by requests. Reply rate is replies divided by people messaged. In the opener test, reply rate is replies divided by messages delivered. Positive conversations are referrals, interested prospects and booked meetings, as totalled in the final monthly report to Intrum. Acceptance rates per profile come from our test results.
Tell us who you sell to, and we will show you how we would reach them.
