Meeting and referrals
1 meeting booked and 2 contacts who passed us on to the right colleague.
Jamoya helps shoe brands design and produce technical and comfort footwear in China, with follow-up from Europe. We put the founder's profile in front of buyers, product managers and owners at footwear brands, and the outreach led to a meeting and two referrals.
Results from the founder's LinkedIn outreach reports over 4 months.
1 meeting booked and 2 contacts who passed us on to the right colleague.
Conversations started with buyers, product people and owners in footwear.
Replies from footwear decision makers who wanted to talk further.
Buyers, product people and owners at footwear brands added to the founder's network.
The goal set at the start was 100 new connections in 3 months. A narrow, footwear-only audience still beat it by more than half.
The goal was agreed at the strategy workshop. The result is the 249 new connections in the final report, minus the 90 added in the last test round in month 4.
Jamoya makes technical and comfort shoes, many of them for older customers, where a wider toe box, soft linings and lab-tested soles matter. Its founder has more than 20 years in footwear production between Europe and China, but brands often pick suppliers on price alone. He wanted to reach the buyers and product teams who care about quality and follow-up.
The goal: 100 new connections with footwear decision makers in the first 3 months.
We sharpened the founder's LinkedIn headline and profile, then sent connection requests to purchasing, product and production people at footwear brands. The first message talked about quality control, communication and EU standards, and asked how they handle supplier follow-up today.
Over three rounds of testing we removed consulting roles, narrowed the audience to footwear retail, manufacturing and wholesale, and added the UK, the US and Dubai. In the last round a short, peer-to-peer message from one shoe maker to another got the best response and became the message we kept. We also ran a LinkedIn posting workshop and wrote call scripts for following up leads by phone.
Over 4 months, 249 people accepted the founder's request and 22 replied. 5 of those conversations were positive. Replies came from people in nine countries, from Norway to Italy and the US.
1 meeting booked and 2 referrals to the right person inside a brand.
A strategy workshop and launch in month 1, two rounds of audience and message changes, and new markets in month 4.
A workshop on Jamoya's buyers and offer, a cleaner founder profile, and an audience of footwear brands across Europe, France and Germany.
Outreach went live from the founder's profile. The quality-focused message got 12 replies from 58 messages, a 21% reply rate.
Consulting roles out, a footwear-only industry filter in, then a hand-checked list of brands. A posting workshop helped the founder show up in his network.
The last test round added 90 new connections. In total: 2,371 requests, 249 new connections, 22 replies, 1 meeting and 2 referrals.
Connection requests sent from the founder's profile each month, as the audience was narrowed to footwear brands.
Founder's profile, by month.
How we count. Months are counted from launch. Connection requests and replies come from the outreach report kept for the founder's profile. New connections, positive conversations, the meeting and the referrals are the totals in the final report Jamoya received at the end of the work. The 90 new connections in month 4 are the result of the last test round in that report.
Tell us who you sell to, and we will show you how we would reach them.
