Message testing
55positive conversations in the third test round, up from 3 in the first

Every round we tested new opening messages and kept what worked. Short messages with clear value early beat long, technical ones, and the third round added a Danish message built around a ready-made Power BI reporting setup.

ChallengeTurn a relationship business into a steady flow of meetings

UNI4C already had a good inflow of new customers, but most of it came through existing relationships and referrals.

The team wanted a predictable way to start conversations with finance, operations and IT leaders at mid-sized Danish companies who are thinking about their systems and reporting.

The goal: 23 positive conversations every 2.5 months.

SolutionThree profiles, a sharp audience and constant testing

We ran outreach from three UNI4C profiles, each with its own audience of finance, operations and IT leaders at Danish companies with 51 to 5,000 employees.

Every month we tested new opening messages against each other and moved the volume to the winners. Short, concrete messages with the value up front did best, and a Danish message about a ready-made Power BI reporting setup became the strongest of all.

We also suggested new profile headlines and kept narrowing the audience, for example to companies with their headquarters in Denmark.

Impact126 positive conversations and 2 new customers

Across the three profiles, 1,655 decision makers connected and 569 replied.

126 positive conversations in four months, against a goal of 23 every 2.5 months, with 7 booked meetings and 2 new customers.

The third test round alone brought 230 replies and 55 positive conversations, and gave UNI4C a proven set of messages to keep using.

How we helped

What we did, and when

From workshop to new customers in four months.

  1. Before launch

    Strategy and targeting

Strategy workshop, audiences of finance, operations and IT leaders, and a review of the three sender profiles.

  2. Month 1

    Launch

Outreach went live on all three profiles with the first set of test messages. 205 requests and 24 replies in the first month.

  3. Months 2 and 3

    Testing and optimisation

A second round of message tests lifted positive conversations from 3 to 35. The third round, in Danish and built around a ready-made Power BI reporting setup, started in month 3.

  4. Month 4

    Results

The third round brought 55 positive conversations. In total: 1,655 new connections, 569 replies, 126 positive conversations, 7 booked meetings and 2 new customers.

How we count. Requests, new connections, people messaged and replies are monthly totals from the LinkedIn campaign data for all three profiles. Reply rate is replies divided by people messaged. Positive conversations are counted from the campaign's reply tracking for all three profiles: booked meetings, interested prospects and referrals. Booked meetings and new customers are as reported to UNI4C in the monthly reports. Positive conversations per test round come from the same reports. Month 1 is the first month outreach was live.
